Vantis Meridian 2

A two-person hardshell chamber in a pearl-white composite shell, adjustable from 1.3 to 2.0 ATA, with twin reclining seats, BIBS masks and an in-cabin screen — a slightly tighter footprint than the Apex 2 for rooms that cannot give up the extra two feet.

What it does

Plainly, what happens in a session.

  • Two people sit in the cabin on twin reclining seats. The domed door seals and the chamber pressurizes anywhere from 1.3 to 2.0 ATA.
  • An air booster module pressurizes the cabin while an oxygen module feeds the two BIBS masks at 93 ± 3% purity.
  • Cabin lighting, an in-cabin screen and a wall-mounted control tablet are built into the quilted interior.
  • The operator runs and monitors the session from the exterior touchscreen; occupants can call out on the intercom at any time.
  • The unit rolls on locking casters, so a room can be reconfigured without a rigging crew.

Why this one

What the cheaper unit does not do.

Two seats in a smaller room

It holds the same two occupants as the Apex 2 in a footprint roughly two feet shorter and a foot narrower, which is the difference between fitting a room and not.

Hardshell, not fabric

A composite hardshell vessel with a domed pressure door, rated to a true 2.0 ATA rather than the fractional pressures a soft chamber is limited to.

Finished like a suite, not a shop

Quilted cabin panels, gold Vantis marks, backlit door surround and an in-cabin screen — it reads as a room feature rather than a piece of equipment.

Operator control outside, occupant control inside

An exterior touchscreen for the operator and an interior tablet for the occupants, with emergency stop and emergency pressure relief.
